The cost of Express Replacement Service?
When you order Express Replacement Service through your AppleCare+ plan, there’s no payment for the express delivery. The only payment is just for the replacement iPhone.
Some issues might be covered under the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, in which case there’s no fee to replace your product. If your iPhone has damage unintentionally, you’ll pay an AppleCare+ incident fee, as shown below.

If you’ve already used both incidents of accidental damage that come with AppleCare+, you’ll pay an out-of-warranty fee for your replacement, as shown on our pricing page.

How do I return my original product?
We’ll send your replacement iPhone with delivery materials and instructions. Your replacement will have factory settings. Return your original iPhone to us within 10 business days of your request to avoid paying late fees.
Before returning your iPhone to us, become sure to have a backup of all data and check the below instructions. Your replacement device will not have your data on it, and you'll need to restore that data from your backup.

while you are requesting Express Replacement Service, we put a temporary authorization on your credit card to cover the full replacement value of your product. This authorization will expire exactly when:
- Your need is covered under warranty, an AppleCare plan, or consumer law
- We take your original product on time. In this regard, you won’t pay late fees or replacement value.
All about Late fees and replacement value
Actually, when we send a replacement iPhone according to Express Replacement Service, you need to return your originally purchased iPhone to us within 10 business days. After 10 days, we'll charge you the full replacement value.
In case, your original iPhone arrives late, we’ll remove the charge for the replacement value. You’ll pay just a late fee. A late return is between 10 and 20 business days after we ship the replacement to you.
In case your issue is because of severe damage to your iPhone or if it's inoperable after unauthorized modifications or we never receive it, we’ll charge you the replacement value.
